How the Premier League table looked when Jose Mourinho took over at Tottenham

Tottenham are at the beginning of a new era, with Mauricio Pochettino's time in north London coming to an abrupt end.

While Pochettino may have led Tottenham to their first ever Champions League final last season, performances slipping alarming at the start of the 2019/20 campaign to leave the Argentine under pressure.

With Pochettino seemingly losing the dressing room and the club closer to the relegation zone than the top four, the writing was on the wall - and Daniel Levy sacked the coach after five-and-a-half years in north London.

Levy moved quickly to replace Pochettino with Jose Mourinho, and the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager has been tasked with winning the silverware which Poch couldn't quite manage to get his hands on.
