How much Paul Pogba's yearly earnings have DROPPED due to Brexit uncertainty

Back in 2018 the France international was his country's richest sportsmen, but he has now been overtaken by both Antoine Griezmann - who takes the top spot for the first time - and Kylian Mbappe.

According to L'Equipe Magazine, Pogba's £290,000-a-week wages have neither increased nor decreased over the past 12 months.

The Manchester United midfielder's contract with Adidas however, which is worth a whopping £34million over ten years, was recently renegotiated to his benefit after he became a World Cup winner in Russia.

He also made received a £343,000 bonus from the French Football Federation for winning the World Cup.

But despite this positive financial update Pogba's yearly earnings have in fact dropped - and it's to do with the value of sterling falling against the Euro due to the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.

Griezmann's salary sky-rocketed in the summer after Atletico Madrid broke the bank to hand him a new deal and fend off Barcelona.
