ITV's Maryland is a brand-new drama from award-winning actress Suranne Jones and screenwriter Anne-Marie O'Connor. It's about two sisters who have grown apart over the years, but through tragic events learn to love and respect one another all over again.
The series has a star-studded cast list including Suranne Jones, Eve Best, Stockard Channing, who played Rizzo in Grease, Gavin and Stacey's Andrew Knott, and Happy Valley's George Costigan. You can see the cast list in full here.
A synopsis reads: "Becca and Rosaline have forged ahead with their lives, growing distant through time and circumstance, until the discovery of their mother’s body on the Isle of Man reunites them. Arriving in a place they have never visited and with no idea why their mother was there, the sisters begin to unravel the long-held secrets of a woman they thought they knew, whilst keeping their own secrets from each other. Confined on the island and forced to face the life-changing consequences of their mother’s decisions, can Becca and Rosaline learn to love and respect one another all over again?"

How many episodes of Maryland are there?
The series is a three-part drama with the first episode airing on ITV1 and ITVX on Monday, May 22 at 9pm. The second will air at the same time on the same channel on Tuesday, May 23 and the third and final will be broadcast on Wednesday, May 24.
