How many episodes are there of BBC's Showtrial?

A new drama is coming to the BBC and it will follow an explosive court case and the impacts social class can have on the fight for justice.

Showtrial will start on Sunday, October 31st on BBC One with Cleo Roberts and Celine Buckens both playing lead roles.

The drama is about the case of missing working-class university student Hannah Elli and fellow student Talitha Campbell who is accused of being involved in Hannah's disappearance and possible murder.

The series is made up of five episodes, each an hour long and they will be aired every Sunday until Sunday, November 28.

Set in Bristol the series is coming from the same producers of the hit series Line of Duty and Bodyguard.

Viewers will watch and try to piece together if Talitha, the daughter of a high-profile property developer, murdered Hannah, a working-class student.

Other cast members include James Frain who has starred in Star Trek: Discovery and Lolita Chakrabarti who was in the hugely popular BBC drama Vigil.

Showtrial will begin Sunday, October 31 on BBC1 at 9pm.
