How Man City's Champions League odds have shifted after group stage draw

The group stage draw for the 2019/20 Champions League draw has been made and Manchester City remain the favourites to win the competition.

Pep Guardiola's side are seeking to win Europe's elite prize for the first time, building upon the back-to-back Premier League titles lifted in recent years.

After securing a domestic treble last term, City are pushing for further honours this season and the odds from The Pools show Guardiola's side are the favourites to go all the way.

City were priced at 7/2 to win the competition ahead of Thursday's group stage draw and the bookies see their chances of having increased after their start to the season was mapped out.

The Premier League champions were paired with Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb and Atalanta, a collection of sides they will be confident of facing off against, and their odds have now shortened to 10/3.

Guardiola's former side are seen as 5/1 to win the competition, while Liverpool are priced at 13/2 to defend the title that they lifted in Madrid earlier this year.

Serial winners Real Madrid are priced at 17/2 to lift the title again, while Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus are priced at 9/1.
