How King Charles ‘drowned a few sorrows’ after England’s loss to Argentina

King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the Hall & Woodhouse Badger Brewery in Dorset following England 's 2-1 World Cup semi-final defeat by Argentina .
Charles poured a pint of ale, remarking with a smile that it might be "a good day to drown a few sorrows".
The semi-final match in Atlanta, Georgia, was the most-watched UK broadcast of the year, with over 24 million viewers.
During their visit, the royal couple met brewing and chef apprentices and discussed the World Cup's business impact with the brewery's finance director.
England is scheduled to play France in the third-place play-off game on Saturday in Miami, a match manager Thomas Tuchel said neither team's “players want to play”.
