How Georgia football Twitter spent the bye week

Georgia football Twitter did some interesting things over the second bye week of the season. The Bulldogs rested and recovered before their biggest game of the season in Jacksonville. Every week is an elimination week for the Dawgs from here on out. Before the Dawgs face Florida, let’s look at what they’ve been up to:

It’s been well publicized that UGA QB Jake Fromm hunts, but Monty Rice landed his first deer. Not a bad way to spend the bye weekend.

Georgia basketball didn’t have a bye week. The Dawgs traveled to Charlotte to face the UNCC 49ers and emerged victorious.

Tom Crean and the Bulldogs start their season at home on November 5th against Western Carolina. Anthony Edwards will make the team worth watching every night this season.

Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann got to spend some family time. Schumann has been impressive leading the Georgia defense this season.

Mark Richt got plenty of well wishes on TV. The former Georgia coach is okay after suffering a heart attack.

There’s no such thing as a bye week for many college football coaches. With recruiting and fundraising, it is a year round job nowadays. Kirby Smart checked out a four-star defensive end recruit over the bye:
