How Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot are getting around Man Utd's social distancing rules

Diogo Dalot has been looking out for his compatriot Bruno Fernandes ever since he arrived on these shores in January.

The Portuguese right-back has been the midfielder's go-to friend in the area, with the defender doing everything he can to help Fernandes settle in.

It seems to have worked.

Fernandes hit the ground running following his transfer from Sporting in the January window, and was single-handedly marching United back to the Champions League places before the coronvairus pandemic brought the season to a halt.

One of the ways Dalot has helped Fernandes settle in is by giving him lifts to Manchester United's Carrington training base.

Of course, in recent months there has been no training.

But Premier League stars started to return in small grounds from Tuesday, posing a slight problem for the Portuguese duo.

Social distancing rules means Dalot and Fernandes are no longer allowed to share a car to work.

But it seems they have got around this by simply driving alongside one another en route to the training ground, as Dalot revealed on Instagram.

The defender posted an image of himself driving his car into Carrington with Fernandes directly behind him in the queue. Alongside the image the defender wrote: "When they say we can't go in the same car."

Fernandes shared the image to his own Instagram Story, adding four 'crazy face' emojis for good measure.
