Hour-by-hour weather forecast for Leeds on Tuesday as mixed day of rain, cloud and sun expected

It's expected to be a mixed bag weather-wise for Leeds today (Tuesday), with spells of rain, cloud and sunshine all expected.

According to the Met Office temperatures will reach up to 17°C in some parts and there will be sunny spells, but not without some rain fall.

A statement from the Met Office reads: “Further north sunny intervals and showers, perhaps heavy."

The forecaster states that rain should fall in Leeds from around 7am but then it should dry off, with plenty of sunshine expected at 8am before some cloudy spells for a couple of hours afterwards.

There is a 40 per cent chance of rain for three hours from 1pm but then it should dry off and sunshine should reappear at 5pm, with temperatures peaking then at 17°C.

The heat will begin to cool down and clouds should reappear but we're in for another sunny spell at 8pm before the clouds descend for night time.
