Horn camp can expose 'hittable' Tszyu

Ben Horn and trainer Glenn Rushton are adamant the surging Nikita Tszyu is beatable. (AAP)

Ben Horn plans to be more than a speed bump in Nikita Tsyzu's surging boxing career, declaring he'll get one back for his brother Jeff when they meet in Sydney.

The pair will headline the card at the Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday in a super welterweight bout billed as the battle of the brothers, two years after Tim Tszyu's dominant defeat of Jeff Horn in Townsville.

That impressive win set the undefeated son of Kostya on track for his own world title fight later this year in the United States.

Horn's trainer Glenn Rushton, who was in Jeff's corner for a career that included a shock world title upset of Manny Pacquiao, admitted there was plenty to like about Tim's powerful younger brother.

But the late return to the ring of Nikita, who's 24 and a qualified architect, is being viewed as a way in for the more experienced Horn, 32.

"We acknowledge that Nikita Tszyu is an insanely good fighter (but) they all go down, they're all beatable," Rushton told reporters.

"Nikita's still learning; he was out of the boxing game for a long time.

"I remember watching him (as an amateur) thinking he had more potential than Tim, (but) he's very hittable.

"He is the Butcher and it seems he doesn't mind taking one to give one and Ben doesn't mind giving one, or two or three either."

Tszyu has pulverised his rivals in two eye-catching fights to begin his professional career but Horn (4-4) is undaunted.

"There's an upset coming ... (the motivation is) to get one back on the family name," Horn said.

"He's going to come forward, push the pressure and I'll meet fire with fire."
