Homeless charity Simon Community launches appeal for volunteers

The Simon Community needs new Glasgow volunteers.

The charity, which works to combat the cause and affect of homelessness across Scotland, is hosting two nightstop recruitment and information sessions in the city in May.

They have a range of roles available to suit everyone, whether you are available for one hour, a fortnight or three nights a week.

Search launched for missing teen Courtney Semple with links to Glasgow and Dumbarton  

Nightstop Glasgow provides a free and safe room for the night for those who need it, with trained and vetted volunteer hosts for young people 16-25 in crisis. 

The information events take place at 472 Ballater Street on Thursday May 2 at 6pm, and Thursday, May 16 at 6pm.
