Chicago police are warning Wicker Park and Humboldt Park residents after two home burglaries were reported in September.

In both cases, the suspect forced their way into a residence, took property and fled, Chicago police said in an alert.

The first burglary happened at 7:39 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 2400 block of West Division Street, police said. Another burglary was reported between 2:30p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 1400 block of North Western Avenue.

A description of any suspects wasn’t provided.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
