Home Bargains has caused excitement among its shoppers after sharing one of its latest releases online.
Like many retailers, Home Bargains regularly uses its social media feeds to update its customers with new items and recently showcased its new weighted blankets.
Sharing a photo of the new blanket, which comes in adult and children’s sizes, Home Bargains wrote: “In the news - Weighted Blankets. Designed to aid in relaxation as they simulate a gentle and comforting weight like a full body hug.
“Choose from grown ups or kids- with a design they'll love!”
The children’s blanket is priced at £14.99 while the adult versions are £24.99.

Shoppers were quick to share their excitement over the product, praising it for its benefits including helping their children sleep and its calming effect. As the blankets are weighted they are not recommended for young children and parents are encouraged to read all the guidelines before purchasing.
Among the comments, one shopper wrote: “I absolutely love mine, go to sleep quicker and stay asleep longer.”
Another said: “I need this!!” and a third wrote: “Yes, they are very calming”.
A fourth added: “I bought one for my son the other day and he absolutely loves it! I’ve noticed when he’s slept in it he’s a lot less restless and definitely slept a lot better”.
