A shopper that posted the news of a cheap beauty deal found in Home Bargains has caused controversy.
Some say that Derma V10 Exfoliating Foot Peel Tea Tree & Peppermint has worked wonders on their feet while others report having peeling feet for up to three months.
The product that says it will remove dead skin over a week is, normally on sale for £1.99 or sold in multipacks for up £10 but it was found by one savvy shopper for 89p.
The 90-minute treatment says that it "Gently Removes Rough Dead Skin After 7 Days Leaving Your Feet Soft & Silky Smooth"- but that hasn't been everyone's experience.

The original post on Facebook in Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group UK said: "Upwards of £4 in Superdrug. 89p in home bargains"
It gained over 450 comments with some saying they love the product.
"I love these. My feet were really bad- to the extent it hurt to walk on them- but these are a godsend!" said one user.
However, most of the comments reported scary results as one person said: "Please don't, unless you want to wear sox for 5 weeks, would not stop pealing, thought ma feet would fall off"
Another person said: "This made my feet peel too much to the point the layers that were coming off were too deep and my feet bled.
"Took ages for my feet to heal. Did the same to a friend of mine too"
"These are the worst things ever!! I shed like a snake for around 5 weeks!" said another shopper.

While foot peel socks may not be entirely new, they have been popping up in other stores like Boots and Poundland.
Lots of people have reported great results for the Dermo product but foot experts have said they do not recommend them for everyone.
Hiren Patel from Flawless Feet Podiatry & Laser Clinic said: "As Podiatrist we do not really recommend the use of these peels, especially if you are doing it regularly.
"The main ingredient salicylic acid is used in many chemical peels and potentially if used wrong can cause many problems.
"Also a definite no no for diabetics and other high risk patients."
DermaV10 has been contacted by the Daily Record for comment.
