Adam Sandler has been spotted enjoying a game of basketball in Clapham Common during his visit to London to promote his latest Netflix film Jay Kelly.
The Happy Gilmore star, 59, stunned locals as he joined an impromptu match on the South London courts.
The Hollywood actor kept his trademark laid-back style, wearing coral shorts, a blue T-shirt and turquoise trainers as he dribbled and passed the ball with fellow players.
One surprised onlooker shared a clip of the moment on social media, which has since been obtained by The Sun, and captioned it: “Oi, what’s this? @adamsandler’s back on the courts in Clapham.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments, with one writing: “That doesn’t even look like him,” and another adding: “Clapham is sunny and Sandler is back – what a Sunday!”
Another user confirmed: “He was in Green Park earlier that day!”
Sandler has long embraced London life during his visits.

Last year, he posed for photos with staff at a Greene King pub and was spotted playing basketball also in Clapham while shooting Happy Gilmore 2.
His appearance comes just days after Sandler walked the red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall for the Jay Kelly premiere, where he was joined by co-star George Clooney and their wives Jackie Sandler and Amal Clooney.
The Netflix comedy follows Clooney as a fading movie star who, in a bid to reconnect with his teenage daughter as she travels Europe, accepts a prestigious lifetime achievement award at a Tuscan arts festival.
Directed by Noah Baumbach, the film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in August and has already sparked early Oscar buzz.
“I got to play a man who loves this man here,” said Sandler about his co-star and friend Clooney while introducing the film to the London audience.
“I’ve known George many years, and this was awesome that we got to shoot a movie, to get to be together for months, get to know each other [and] get closer and closer. My character lives for this guy, for Jay Kelly.
“He’s not Jay Kelly in real life. Jay is a little more self-centered. This guy — he cares about everybody. He’s thinking of everybody. He doesn’t like compliments, but he’s great dude.”
