Hollyoaks' Stephanie Davis praised for being real in loved-up holiday snaps as she slams 'fake Instagram bodies'

Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis has been praised by her fans for posting 'real' photos of herself during a holiday with her family. The 29-year-old has shared a series of unedited photos whilst away with her boyfriend Joseph Mckalroy and son Caben-Albi as she slammed 'fake, heavily edited' bodies on Instagram.

The actress, who played the role of Sinead O'Connor in the Channel 4 soap for nine years, was pictured looking loved-up with her arms and legs wrapped around her beau Joe. The couple are enjoying some time away weeks after it was announced Stephanie had suffered a devastating miscarriage.

Last month, the Celebrity Big Brother star announced that she and Joe, who made their relationship 'Instagram official' back in January, had lost their baby. Sharing photos from her pregnancy journey, Stephanie told her fans, "We are ok and we have got through it all as family. One day we will expand our little family when the time is right."

The pair met and grew close whilst on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2016, despite Stephanie having a boyfriend at the time.

Stephanie went on to become runner-up of series 15 and fell pregnant with Jeremy's son soon after.

However the couple's relationship soon fell apart.

Stephanie is now in a happy relationship with Joe and showed her contentment in a series of holiday snaps.

Whilst sharing the photos with her 966,000 followers on Instagram, Stephanie sent an encouraging reminder to her fans.

The caption read: "Amazing first day of our holidays PS. Cellulite is normal, our body’s [sic] are beautiful never forget that.

"People and influencers on Instagram post too many photos HEAVILY edited, so much so, people now have bad body image because they compare themselves to not real images?

"Every body has bumps, rolls, scars and stretch marks, it makes us women it makes us REAL. People editing themselves on insta is fake and not realistic.

"Stop comparing your self and stopping your self from having fun because of how others look (which is fake anyway) we’re so self obsessed about how we look and how “not good enough” our bodies are when we compare to fake images. You are enough."
