Hollyoaks fans were left gobsmacked tonight as John Paul made a shock return to the soap.
The much-loved character, played by James Sutton, made a surprise appearance during the double McQueen wedding tonight.
Sadly it was via video message rather than in the flesh, but his speech still left everyone in tears.
"Happy wedding day!" He exclaimed, leaving both Myra and Mercedes stunned as they stared up at the screen.
"I'm gutted that I can't be there," he said. "My wonderful parents, back together after all these years."

Addressing a tearful Sally, he said: "After a lifetime of the world turning its back on you you've finally found your soulmate."
His words left viewers in tears as they called for him to return permanantly.
One tweeted: "That was a wonderful speech from John Paul @Hollyoaks #Hollyoaks bring him back please."
While another commented: "awww john paul #hollyoaks."
A third remarked: "Hi! John Paul. Please come back #Hollyoaks."
Actor James said that he had loved returning to the village.
He said: “Its always nice being asked to pop back for a little cameo and really great to see my old pals again. And what sort of son would I be if I didn’t congratulate my on screen parents on their nuptials!”
