Holly Willoughby's 'row with neighbours' over plans to extend 6-bed £3million mansion

Holly Willoughby has reportedly got into a row with her neighbours over her plans to add an extension to her £3million mansion.

The This Morning presenter, 40, and her husband Dan Baldwin have submitted plans to their local council to add a first floor side and rear extension at their mansion in South West London, it's claimed.

Their luxury Edwardian pad, which overlooks the River Thames, already has six bedrooms but they reportedly want to add more.

But a neighbour sent a letter to the council saying the noise and disruption caused by the building work would be relentless, it's reported.

Plans to add a two-storey extension were rejected in 2016 because residents said it would spoil the area.

Holly and Dan are now said to have amended their plans but their neighbours are still not happy.

The letter, seen by The Sun, said: "My work space is right by the project and having the noise all day and all week for so many months is not the standard of living in such an expensive area to live.

"I don't pay taxes to get this level of disruption, it is not quality of life. I totally oppose and refuse the go ahead of the project.

"This project does not have the objective to fix a critical aspect of the building that represents a thread to the people living in there, is solely for luxury living."

Planning agents for the couple have said the proposed extension will "help balance the two wings of the house".

The application is in the initial stages of public consultation until May 14 so a decision has not yet been made.

Holly and Dan were previously given permission to build a basement extension.

The Mirror has contacted a rep for Holly and is awaiting comment.
