Holly Willoughby responds to fans over innocent Instagram blunder

Holly Willoughby has brushed off her innocent Instagram slip with a new post.

The This Morning star was warned by fans after she posted a picture to her millions of followers as she enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath ahead of her TV return.

What Holly actually wanted to point out was that her bubbles had formed a heart shape in her tub close to the sparkling taps.

"My bath [heart emoji]’s me…" the 40-year-old shared alongside the snap.

But fans were quick to tell the presenter that her taps were so shiny, they could see her reflection.

While her reflection wasn't clear Holly took the precaution and removed the image from her page.

Now though, Holly has poked fun at her little blunder with a new post.

"Whilst we're all talking about reflections....this is the only one of me you were meant to see," she captioned her latest post of her new book, Reflections, which is due for release later this year.

Holly's make-up artist was among the first to reply, writing: "reflections and a priceless sense of humour."

"THE CAPTION I love that you can use your sense of humour," a fan added.

Another said: "This is why we love you... so glad you’re full of humour and giggles (as we saw today)."

"Hahaha what a legend Holly!!! We have all been there loooool," a third follower added.

Others even said: "Well played," as she even managed to promote her new venture.

Holly announced last month that she is set to release a book after teasing a 'secret project'.

The book has been described by Holly as "thoughts and musings" from her on "inner and outer beauty."

She said that "writing is such a personal process and between these pages you will find many little pieces of me," as she revealed the cover of the book, titled Reflections.

The mum-of-three goes on to explain how she's finally at a point in my life where I can see a little more clearly," before continuing: "And I want to share my truths in the hope that maybe they’ll help you too."
