Team Falcons continued their dominance in competitive Call of Duty: Warzone after capturing the Warzone Resurgence Series LAN Finals at DreamHack Atlanta. While Falcons’ championship performance stood out, much of the attention focused on the heated rivalry between Hisoka and former teammate Shifty of Twisted Minds.
The Falcons trio of Hisoka, Newbzz, and Dongy outlasted the 16-team field to secure back-to-back titles in the Warzone Resurgence Series, taking home the $30,000 top prize on top of direct qualification for the $1 million Esports World Cup.
Hisoka-Shifty heated rivalry erupts after Team Falcons’ victory at DreamHack Atlanta Warzone

Tensions escalated throughout the Warzone event as Shifty taunted Falcons from the player pit, particularly targeting Dongy and Hisoka. At one point during the finals, with Twisted Minds, Falcons, and a few other teams sitting on match point, Shifty was heard shouting: “Soka, I know you hear me. Do not forget, you are not a world champion without me. I brought you into this game!”
It could be remembered that Shity and Hisoka, along with Biffle, won the World Series of Warzone (WSOW) 2024 Global Finals under the Team Falcons banner. They went on to play in other big Warzone LAN tournaments, including the WSOW 2025 final and Esports World Cup 2025 where they finished on fifth place, before parting ways.
Shifty’s strong comment at DreamHack Atlanta seemed to fire up Hisoka and his Falcons crew, who battled through 11 drops to seize the title. After clinching the championship, Hisoka immediately responded to the trash talk in an emotional faceoff. Hisoka got into the face of Shifty across the pit and shouted some spicy words at him before the two engaged in a word war.
The victory marked another milestone for Hisoka individually. With the DreamHack Atlanta win, he now holds the record for the most LAN victories in competitive Warzone history.
For Falcons, the championship cements their place as the top squad in the current pro Warzone scene, having won back-to-back WRS LAN titles after also ruling the tournament at DreamHack Birmingham two months ago.
