WWE 2K26’s complete roster is finally out, and well, it’s better than expected. Not only have they added a plethora of new and upcoming superstars, but multiple personas of popular wrestlers are also made available this time around. But with so many new names, who tops the rating list?
Today, I’m listing the top 10 male wrestlers, according to ratings, in WWE 2K26. These will include different personas and wrestlers from any domain (RAW, SmackDown, NXT, or Legend category). So if you’re excited to find out who made the cut, keep reading till the end.
Highest Rated Superstars In WWE 2K26

Gunther – 97 OVR
Probably one of the most surprising ratings was also the highest one in the game. Austrian professional wrestler Gunther received a 97 OVR, making him the highest-rated wrestler in WWE 2K26. The 38-year old Austrian signed a contract with WWE back in 2018, after which he was assigned to NXT UK. Gunther quickly closed ranks and rose to the top, claiming the NXT United Kingdom Championship from Pete Dunne.
He held the title for 870 days straight before moving to the NXT brand, and subsequently SmackDown in 2022. Notable titles in his career would be the WWE Intercontinental Championship, 24th King of the Ring, and 2-time World Heavyweight Champion. But his most notable achievement by far would be defeating John Cena, AJ Styles, and Goldberg in their retirement matches, something that was definitely taken into account while assigning his rating.
The Rock ‘01 – 96 OVR
No one is a stranger to the name, not even movie fans. But WWE 2K26 features several different personas for The Rock, specifically because of his scattered appearances. Dwayne Johnson, known by his ring name ‘The Rock’, is not just an accomplished wrestler but a successful actor as well. The now-53-year-old has made a significant impact in the WWE over the years, particularly for his trash talk.
What started as a dream quickly turned into reality when Johnson joined the WWF in 1996. The Rock has no shortage of achievements, but some iconic victories included the flagship events for WrestleMania six times throughout his career. A major reason his ‘01 persona is rated so highly is that he came back as a part-timer after he left in 2004.
Roman Reigns – 95 OVR
When you hear the word iconic in WWE, there are only a handful of wrestlers that come to mind, and Roman Reigns is definitely one of them. This beastly superstar is one of the most echoed names inside and outside the ring. Starting in 2010, Reigns is most known for his debut with ‘the Shield’, a trio comprising him, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose.
He has also held the WWE Universal Championship for an astounding 1,316 days, the fourth-longest title reign in WWE history. No wonder he’s rated so highly in WWE 2K26. Painted as a villain throughout his career, Reigns wore the critique like a crown and powered through.
Cody Rhodes – 95 OVR
Some wrestlers don’t just make a name for themselves inside the ring, but outside as well, and that’s exactly what Cody Rhodes did. The undisputed ‘King of the Ring’ has a rich history in the WWE. With multiple titles under his belt, they are not the most interesting parts of his career. Starting way back in 2006, Rhodes is the son of legendary wrestler Dusty Rhodes and a half-brother to Dustin Rhodes.
Throughout his career, Cody Rhodes has performed under ‘Stardust’, become a Triple Crown Champion, and formed new agencies, namely the All Elite Wrestling. All that justifies the top-tier rating he received this iteration.
Brock Lesnar – 94 OVR
Ever heard of MMA in the WWE? Well, that was introduced by none other than the ‘Beast Incarnate’, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is a multi-talented individual, having played football, MMA, and wrestling, all professionally. His career shows several jumps from one sport to another, winning titles everywhere he went.
The one thing Brock Lesnar will forever be remembered for is ending the Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak in 2014.
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins – 94 OVR
Similar to Roman Reigns, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins signed a contract with WWE back in 2010. He had a decorated career in various wrestling federations before then, but made headlines when he joined The Shield in 2012. Their reign of terror lasted a bit over 2 years before all three members disbanded and started individual pathways.
Rollins was known by a variety of names throughout his career: The Messiah, The Visionary, and even the Universal Champion when he held that title. With such an eventful career, no wonder he’s in the top 10 highest-rated male wrestlers in WWE 2K26.
CM Punk Elimination Chamber ‘13 – 94 OVR
It would be wrong to compile a list of highest rated male wrestlers and not include the poster boy himself. CM Punk has been the centre of attention in the WWE recently, owing much of it to rivalries with several people, such as Seth Rollins. But this isn’t the original version, rather the Elimination Chamber persona from ‘13.
Looking back, Elimination Chamber ‘13 was when CM Punk faced The Rock for the WWE Championship. After a lot of back and forth (including some unintended casualties), The Rock was able to defend his title. CM Punk soon retired from the WWE due to extensive injuries.
Drew McIntyre – 93 OVR
Drew McIntyre might not be the most popular name in the WWE, but he definitely knows how to make waves. The 6’5 Scottish professional wrestler joined the WWE in 2007 initially. He then left in 2014 and rejoined in 2017 to be crowned the NXT Champion. Working his way up to the main roster, McIntyre didn’t let petty squabbles hinder him.
He was attacked several times (for different reasons) after coming back, but persevered, finally getting his third WWE Championship win in 2025 over Cody Rhodes. He is now the current WWE Champion.
Randy Orton – 92 OVR
When it comes to unique wrestlers, who better to talk about than ‘the Viper’ Randy Orton? Orton comes from a long line of wrestlers, being a third-generation wrestling superstar. He has the tied-third most world championship reigns in the company’s history, and a massive 20-year career under his name.
Most known for his finisher, the RKO, Orton has one of the most decorated careers in WWE history. The fact that he is rated so highly in WWE 2K26 just goes to show what an iconic wrestler he really was.
Seth Rollins ‘25 – 92 OVR
An interesting entry finishes up our list with a Seth Rollins persona, Seth Rollins ‘25. This makes him the only superstar to feature the original version as well as a persona in the top 10 highest-rated male superstars. Now, why exactly is the ‘25 persona rated so highly? This is primarily because he feuded with Cover-superstar, CM Punk. Throughout the entirety of 2025, Rollings feuded with Punk and Reigns over several matches.
Not only did these matches keep him in the spotlight, but they also showcased his talent and reiterated his want for getting to the top.
