Hibs outline three main transfer priorities as Aiden McGeady still in contention for Scottish football return

Hibs are said to be aiming for three more attacking recruits ahead of their new season - with former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady an option.

New boss Lee Johnson has wasted no time in getting new signings through the door, including David Marshall, Nohan Kenneh, Rocky Bushiri, Lewis Miller and Momodou Bojang.

They look set to land another as the Scotsman report that Benfica youngster Jair Tavares has passed a medical ahead of Hibs' return to pre-season training on Saturday.

Predominately a left-winger, he has featured heavily for the Lisbon giants in their 'B' team without making a senior breakthrough, without regular first team football winning him over.

Reports also state that Johnson still wants to add another winger, an attacking midfielder and a striker to his Hibs ranks, with McGeady an option consider.

The pair worked together at Sunderland and the former Celtic player was recently released by new boss Alex Neil after their promotion to England's Championship.
