Hibs-linked Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty set to join Hull City after fee and terms agreed

Former Hibs loan star Greg Docherty is set to join English League One side Hull City on a permanent deal.

Docherty has been told he isn't part of Steven Gerrard's plans at Rangers and is set to leave the club.

Hibs had been linked with a move for the 23-year-old this summer, but it seems the player is destined to move down south.

According to The Herald, Docherty will join the Tigers in a deal worth around £400k. Personal terms have been agreed and the transfer is expected to be completed shortly.

Hibs were dealt another transfer blow this morning as it emerged Docherty's Rangers teammate Ross McCrorie was set to join Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen.

The Dons reportedly agreed an initial loan with a "set fee to buy" the versatile midfielder from the league leaders.

McCrorie is scheduled to undergo a medical at Cormack Park this morning.
