Hibs handed financial boost as Easter Road club close in on 10,000 season tickets

Hibernian are closing in on sales of 10,000 season-tickets in a major boost to the club’s hard-pressed finances.

Over 9,700 supporters have now booked their seat at Easter Road for the new campaign.

Around 11,000 were bought last year, despite fans not being able to watch their team in person due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But, with the hope that easing protocols will allow crowds again next term, and with Hibs set to compete in the Europa Conference League, supporters are again snapping up their season books in healthy numbers.

The news of a boost to the club's coffers will come as a relief to manager Jack Ross, who will be looking to add to build upon his promising start to life as Hibees boss, after securing a third-place finish in the Premiership last season, as well as a run to the Scottish Cup final.
