Heung-min Son is due in Los Angeles on Tuesday to complete his move to LAFC.
Tottenham will receive a fee of around £15million for Son, who is set to sign a two-year contract with the MLS side.
Son confirmed last week that he is leaving Spurs after a decade at the club in which he scored 173 goals in 454 games.
The 33-year-old was then given an emotional send-off in what was his final appearance for Spurs on Sunday, as they drew 1-1 with Newcastle in a friendly in his native South Korea.

“This is the time to say goodbye to everyone," a tearful Son said after the match. “Spurs will always be in my heart. I will cheer them on as a family member.”
Son is set to be unveiled at LAFC this week.
New Spurs signing Joao Palhinha is set to train with the Spurs squad this week after completing his loan move from Bayern Munich.
Spurs are assessing James Maddison’s knee injury and have announced young striker Will Lankshear has joined Championship side Oxford United on loan.
Lankshear made six appearance for Spurs last season before spending the second half of the season on loan at West Brom.
“This is a really exciting opportunity for me to be joining a great club,” said Lankshear. “I learned so much last season in the first team at Tottenham and West Brom and I’m ready to now kick on with Oxford United.
“I feel like this is the right place for me to be. I love nothing more than scoring goals. I want to do my best to bring as many as I can this season.”
