Bungie just wrapped up its Warmind DLC livestream for Destiny 2 where they mainly showed off the new horde mode, Hive Escalation Protocol, and not a whole lot else, in order to keep a lot of the expansion under wraps.
But after the stream ended, Bungie sent me the press kit for Warmind which contains a lot of interesting stuff, including a gallery of all the new and old exotics coming to/returning to the game in the DLC.
I know that some people consider this kind of thing a spoiler, even if it’s just a look at the exotics, so avert your eyes if that’s you. The bad news is that I don’t know what the perks are for these weapons or armor pieces, meaning I have to just draw from Destiny 1 knowledge for the old ones. I guess that will be the fun of discovery. There are a lot of returning items here, but some new ones as well. Shall we begin?
Apothesis Veil (Warlock Helm)
Destiny 1 Perk – Immediately regenerate health, melee and grenade energy upon activating your Super.

Armamentarium (Titan Chest)
Destiny 1 Perk – Gain an additional grenade charge.

Ashen Wake (Titan Arms)
New Warmind Item

Claws of Ahamkara (Warlock Arms)
Destiny 1 Perk – Gain an additional charge for all Warlock-charged melees

Eternal Warrior (Titan Helm)
Destiny 1 Perk – Gain Unstoppable for Fist of Havoc

Fr0st-EE5 (Hunter Boots)
Destiny 1 Perk – Tighter turn radius while sprinting. Increased grenade and melee regeneration while sprinting.

Ophidia Spathe (Hunter Chest)
New Warmind Item

Sanguine Alchemy (Warlock Chest)
New Warmind Item

Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Hunter Arms)
Destiny 1 Perk – Gain an additional melee charge. Melee damage has a chance to automatically reload your Primary Weapon.

The Oculus Xol (Warlock Helm)
New Warmind Item

Wormgod Caress (Titan Arms)
New Warmind Item

Wormhusk Crown (Hunter Helm)
New Warmind Item

Suros Regime (Auto Rifle)
Destiny 1 Perk – The longer this weapon is fired, the faster it fires/ When zoomed, this weapon fires slower, but causes additional damage.

The Huckleberry (Submachine Gun)
New Warmind Item

Now, I’m guessing these are probably not all the new exotics, as I’ll be damned if Bungie hasn’t made a few more exotic quests or squirreled some away as Black Spindle-like secrets, but it’s a start. I am curious to see if the Destiny 1 items will be changing significantly, and what new perks the Warmind items will bring, given the recent philosophy of making exotics more exciting.
Which of these are you looking forward to the most?
