Henry Cejudo’s PSA to ‘Jose Waldo’ gets Aldo’s attention: ‘Just say when and where’

Henry Cejudo’s hit list just keeps on growing, and this time it’s Jose Aldo in the crosshairs.

Aldo, the former UFC featherweight champion, recently announced that he’d like to move down to bantamweight. And it’s worth noting that Aldo actually fired first at the UFC dual champ, saying he’d like a shot at “Triple C” for the bantamweight title.

In typical Cejudo fashion, he took to social media Tuesday night for another one of his public service announcements.

“I think it’s crazy, these last couple of months that we’ve had legends like, or so-called legends like Urijah Faber, Frankie Edgar and Jose ‘Waldo’ coming down to my weight division. As a matter of fact, Jose ‘Waldo,’ the self proclaimed ‘King of Rio,’ let me tell you who ‘Triple C’ is: Olympic champ, flyweight champ and now bantamweight champion of the world. I’m the king of the world. You can do me a favor, and you can bend the knee too.

“And one last thing, your movie sucks.”

Aldo wasted no time in responding, with a message of his own to accept Cejudo’s challenge.

“We accept the challenge @danawhite @henry_cejudo,” Aldo posted. “Just say when and where and I’ll be there to beat your (expletive) and add another gnome to my collection.”

It seems like Cejudo (15-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) has many options ahead of him, however, UFC president Dana White has made it clear that he’d like to see Cejudo defend his flyweight title vs. No. 1 contender Joseph Benavidez, who already owns a victory over Cejudo.

Or he’ll have to bend the knee and hand his flyweight strap to the UFC.
