Helldivers 2 revealed its first official content roadmap, and it gives players a clearer look at what Arrowhead plans to add over the next several months.
The roadmap starts with Major Update 6.0, Machinery of Oppression, then stretches through updates 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3 with more enemies, biomes, Galactic War campaigns, Warbonds, and quality-of-life additions.

Helldivers 2 has spent most of its post-launch life relying on surprise drops, reactive live-war storytelling, and patch notes instead of anything pre-planned or revealed. This is the first time Arrowhead has shown a month-by-month content outline.
The roadmap begins with Major Update 6.0, Machinery of Oppression, which is already live. That update added the Mega Factories biome, the Bastion Tank vehicle, the Battle for Cyberstan limited-time event, the Siege Breakers Warbond, new enemies, including Cyborgs and the Vox Engine, new missions, and additional Super Store content. It was the biggest single update on the roadmap image and serves as the foundation for the months ahead.
March Update 6.1 is set to add new enemies, new Galactic War campaigns, a new mission, another Warbond, plus more quality-of-life fixes and balance work. Nothing detailed was revealed yet.
In April, Update 6.2 brings two new biomes, new Galactic War campaigns, a new enemy variant, a new Warbond, and another round of quality-of-life fixes and rebalances. This is the first time Arrowhead has decided to add two new biomes at once.
May’s Update 6.3 is the final one on the roadmap, and it’s the smallest one. It includes one new biome, new Galactic War campaigns, a new Warbond, and, you guessed it, more quality-of-life fixes and rebalances.
Curiously, not everyone is pleased with the decision to publish a roadmap. Looks like many were invested in this reactionary storytelling filled with mystery, so having it all laid out for months takes away the sense of discovery.
However, the roadmap only outlines the types of content that will appear in the future without going into detail, most likely to preserve at least some mystery. And no one has said that this is the only content to be added to Helldivers 2. Actually, coming up with a lore reason as to why the plan actually can’t go forward would be very much in Arrowhead’s style.
