Helen Skelton's ex Richie Myler cosies up to pregnant girlfriend in sweet snap

Helen Skelton's ex-husband Richie Myler has shared the first snap of his pregnant girlfriend, Stephanie Thirkill's baby bump.

After giving birth to Elsie in December 2021, Helen and Richie went their separate ways just four months later.

She announced the break-up in a statement telling fans she was 'very sad'.

It soon emerged that he'd found love with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill.

She is now expecting her and Richie's first child together.

On Monday evening, Richie took to his Instagram page to share a professional photo of the two holding on to each other.

In the black-and-white photo, Stephanie placed her hands on his face while he placed his hands on her waist.

He had his eyes closed as the two beamed at each other. Richie simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.

Before the comments on his post were limited, a few of his fans complimented the couple.

"Beautiful photo," one user said along with heart-eye emojis while one person posted: "Amazing."

Helen, who presents Countryfile, shares Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and baby Elsie, one, with her ex Richie.

Back in January, Richie briefly deleted his Instagram account.

He previously used his page to post about his achievements with the Leeds Rhinos as well as updates on his life with his girlfriend Stephanie.

Back in September, Richie shared a photo with Stephanie and her parents as he gushed about finishing his latest rugby season 'as a family.'

In October, Richie told followers he had received 'abusive messages' in a defiant post.

Explaining his decision, Richie penned: “I’ve decided to put my profile private from now on. If you are on here to share my photos or stories of me and my life maliciously to other people or waste your time sending me abusive messages please just unfollow me.

"I'm going to start removing people from my account one by one, so if you are a genuine rugby fan and I accidentally remove you I apologise in advance and will accept you back! Thank you, Richie."

He later deleted his entire profile on the photo and video-sharing site.
