Helen Skelton offered 'big money' for Celebs Go Dating after split from Richie Myler

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton has reportedly been offered a hefty paycheque to appear on Channel 4's Celebs Go Dating following her split from husband Richie Myler.

The 39-year-old TV presenter is currently enjoying single life after her shock break last year, not long after she had given birth to their third child Elsie.

Bosses of the Channel 4 show think she would be a perfect fit for the dating show, which sees celebrities try to find love with the help of experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson.

A source told The Sun: “Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch. The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.

“They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interested in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind.”

Helen and Richie, who have three children together, announced their split early 2022. The rugby star has since moved on and is expecting another child with his current girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Helen has reportedly grown close to fellow Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola after going on tour together.

The Mirror claims that the Countryfile presenter and the hunky Italian professional dancer "bonded" after spending a lot of time together on the tour bus.

It’s reported that the pair frequently snuck off on cosy coffee dates for two while on the road, and if the tour cast went out for a group dinner they "would sit together, deep in conversation.”

The source added: "Between shows they also spent time together one-on-one, like going for coffee, just the two of them. Then, if the whole group went for dinner, they would sit together, deep in conversation.

"If anyone pulled out a phone and started filming, Helen would move away from Vito. She didn’t want to be captured in the background."
