Helen Skelton addressed her split from Richie Myler after he welcomed his new baby with new girlfriend Stephanie Kirkwall.
The Countryfile presenter tied the knot with Richie in December 2013, with the pair going on to call time on their marriage in April 2022 shortly after welcoming their third child together. Helen won over the hearts of viewers during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year, where she narrowly missed out on taking home the glitterball trophy.
The mother-of-three has now urged others to “take each chapter as they come along” as she opened up about her life following her marriage breakdown and electric Strictly stint.
"My life's no different to millions of other people's lives," she told Grazia. "Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out."
"I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as they come along. There's no point overthinking stuff – you just get on with it."
Richie’s fourth child, which is his first with Stephanie, was reportedly born over the weekend after fans noticed that he was absent from the line-up for his rugby team Leeds Rhinos. The Rhinos boss said: "Richie has spent a bunch of time in hospital with the birth of his new little baby, so we've given him a little time off to settle in at home."
While Richie moves on with his new girlfriend and baby, there has been rumours about Helen's love life and reports that TV bosses are desperate to sign her up for Celebs Go Dating.
“Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch," a source said last month. “The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey."
