Helen Flanagan facing 'mum guilt' as she admits she has employed help from a childminder

Helen Flanagan has opened up about being clouded by 'mum guilt' with her three little ones, whom she shares with ex-partner Scott Sinclair. The 32-year-old actor has not been shy in speaking about parenting, often giving candid accounts of her life as a single mum.

The former Corrie favourite split from the former Celtic player when they called off their engagement. The couple "hit a rough patch in the summer" of 2022 and called time on their relationship after 13 years together.

And she has been honest with fans, telling them truthfully that daily life with Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, two, is often a hard task. Helen opened up once again in her latest Instagram Q&A session.

Taking to social media, she opened up on her youngest child Charlie's bedtime routine admitting that she has help from a childminder who has "become her friend."

"Yes Charlie is in an amazing routine, he goes to bed really well for me and in his own cot," she wrote. "I have help from a childminder who has become my friend and sometimes I feel guilty. I get mum guilt a lot that I can't do every single thing but I try my best."

When asked what her favourite thing to do was, aside from working hard as a doting mum to her three adorable kids, Helen said she really enjoys "social media and making content," being no stranger to stripping off for the camera for raunchy TikTok videos.

Meanwhile, the actress was also pressed for tips on potty training and quizzed on whether she misses breastfeeding. "Yes and no, I loved the bonding but I really struggled to get Charlie to stop feeding which was really tough," she admitted.

"I also at the end felt really tired and almost like I had no life whatsoever. I fed for 14 months with Charlie, I got a childminder to help me wean him off the milk."

Helen potty-trained daughter Delilah at the age of two and half which she said "might be a bit later than usual."

She added: "I was pregnant and really unwell with hypermesis. I didn't potty train Matilda, Scott's mum did as I was working at Corrie a lot. I'm potty training Charlie next week, well that's the plan!"
