Helen Flanagan beams alongside children as she suggests no one understands 'what being a mother takes' after public message Scott Sinclair

Helen Flanagan was the image of a proud mum as she enjoyed a special moment with her children while suggesting no one understands 'what being a mother takes'. The former Coronation Street star had a busy weekend as not only did she celebrate her son's second birthday, she also appeared live on Saturday Night Takeaway.

It was revealed live on the ITV entertainment show that Helen, who is famed for playing Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, is among the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmates returning for a special 'all stars' series. I'm a Celebrity ...South Africa, on our screens from next month, will see the return of some of the most memorable campmates from over the years in the new setting of South Africa instead of Australia.

Helen was joined by her fellow castmates, including Carol Vorderman, Amir Khan and Paul Burrell, live via video link for the big announcement by the show's hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly before taking part in a special I'm A Celebrity theme game of Read My Lips.

After her appearance on the show, the 32-year-old was seen in a video posted to her Instagram Story consoling her daughter who Helen had earlier admitted hadn't been 'chuffed' about it being her little brother's special day. "It will be a better day tomorrow Delilah, a better day, OK?" she said as she stroked the four-year-old's hair as she had her head in her mother's lap.

Delilah replied: "Why?" to which Helen then explained: "Because it won't be Charlie's birthday." The toddler really wasn't impressed earlier in the day when Charlie was opening his presents with Helen sharing a video showing it all ending in tears.

However, on Sunday, the former soap star, from Bury, returned to her Instagram Story as she shared a video from TikTok. It showed her, Delilah, and eldest daughter Matilda sharing a sing-song as they presented Charlie with a caterpillar cake for his second birthday with the candles lit on the top.

Helen covered the original sound of the video with different audio in which someone says: "Until you are a mother, no one understands what it takes. The late nights, early mornings, the sleepless days, not eating because you're so busy trying to tend to your kid. Whether you have help or not, a mother's job is never done."

It later adds: "No one understands that even with tears in your eyes, you never have time to stop and really take care of yourself because being a mom is a hundred jobs in one. To all the mums that are struggling, trying to find peace and going through the motions, just remember your babies need you no matter what."

It ends with: "You are superwoman." Helen then captioned the video on TikTok: "Mum first always." It comes after Helen made sure to include Scott Sinclair as she took to her social media platform with a special birthday tribute. The Bury-born star shared a post-labour snap to Instagram as she marked Charlie's, second birthday.

Former Coronation Street actress Helen could be seen cradling her then-newborn baby boy in hospital shortly after his birth. She could be seen looking at her third bundle of joy while wearing a black lacy bra with her blonde locks tied into a messy bun on top of her head.

"Happy 2nd birthday to my dream boy my Prince Charlie," the 32-year-old, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, penned alongside the candid image. "No words for how much I love you. Going to treasure you being 2," she said before adding: "Photo taken day after labour."

Helen also shared a snap of Charlie with his dad, footballer Scott Sinclair, with whom she shares her three children, as they share the same special day. The photo saw the father and son on holiday in sunnier climes as Helen wrote: "Happy birthday @scotty_sinclair."
