British meat producer Heck is now selling its popular pork and chicken sausages as frozen packs.
The latest launch includes packs of the brand's Simply Chicken Sausages, Family Favourite Sausages and Reduced Fat Pork Sausages, which are also available as chiller versions instores and online too.
All the frozen range is gluten-free, additive-free, with the brand aiming to help cut food waste and plastic packaging with its 100% recyclable cardboard boxes.
The new 600g frozen packs cost £4.50 and are available at major supermarket chains Sainsbury's and Waitrose from this month.
The selection is perfect for prepping for barbecue season around the corner, or simply for stocking up on your lockdown supplies.
The move follows Heck's launch of its frozen vegan range at Holland & Barrett last year.
The brand rolled out three plant-based items: Vegan Breakfast, The Beet Goes On and Supergreens (kale, and (beetroot, carrot & horseradish) that can be cooked straight from the freezer.
Speaking at the time Jamie Keeble, Heck Co-Founder said: “Our tasty plant-based offering has really struck a chord, and I can really see vegan being the majority of our business in five years.
“We are delighted to launch our first frozen into Holland & Barrett as it’s a really switched on audience.”
