SHIMLA: The India Meteorological Centre, Shimla, has issued yellow warning for Himachal Pradesh till July 16. In view of this, the administration has warned people not to go near the rivers and streams as heavy rainfall, thunderstorm and lightning is likely to occue at isolated places over plains/low hills and mid hills during this period.
During the above mentioned period, disruptions of essential services namely water and electricity, communications and related services is also warned. Visibility Conditions are very likely to decrease and there is possibility of landslides due to heavy rainfall in hilly regions.
In last 24 hours, Gohar has received 73 mm rainfall, Sundernagar 40 mm and Shimla 37 mm. TNN
