The warning of rainfall starts at 12noon tomorrow (Friday) and lasts until 3pm on Saturday.

The Met Office warning says: "An area of heavy rain is expected to become slow-moving across much of Scotland, especially affecting western and central hills.

"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.

"Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.

"Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer."
