SAN ANTONIO, Texas _ It didn't look pretty.
As has been the case for a Miami Heat team that has struggled on the road for most of the season. And those shortcomings away from AmericanAirlines Arena reared their ugly head during the Heat's 107-102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Early on, it looked like Miami was going to carry the momentum from its victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday as there was the 10-point lead the Heat established behind hot shooting from Duncan Robinson.
From there, the Heat's defense, which has struggled on the road, let the team down and couldn't keep up with a Spurs team firing from all cylinders.
Miami got 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists from Bam Adebayo. Goran Dragic added 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting off the bench. Kendrick Nunn's hot streak continued with 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting, but it wasn't enough against a Spurs team that shot over 40% on three-pointers through the games first three quarters before cooling off in the fourth.
