Hear what Sean McVay told the Rams after their 38-22 win over Houston

The final score doesn’t suggest that the Rams completely dominated the Texans for the majority of Sunday’s game, but that’s exactly how the game went for three-plus quarters. The Rams led 38-0 midway through the fourth and after pulling most of their starters, they allowed the Texans to creep back into the game by allowing 22 unanswered.

Sean McVay was pleased with the way his team started the game after scoring an opening-drive touchdown and he shared his enthusiasm in the locker room following the victory.

“Got a big one this week. Can’t say enough about the way we came out from the jump. Obviously, some things we can clean up when we finish it off,” he said.

McVay handed out a game ball to rookie Ernest Jones, who pulled down his first career interception in his debut as a starter, giving the linebacker props for his performance on Sunday.

McVay also got a game ball of his own, too. Aaron Donald gave the coach one after he secured his 50th career win, just the fourth Rams coach ever to reach 50 wins.
