Head of Police Federation arrested in corruption probe

  • The chief executive of the Police Federation of England and Wales, Mukund Krishna, has been arrested on suspicion of corruption.
  • Two other individuals connected to the organisation were also arrested by City of London Police.
  • The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of fraud by abuse of position, which has been active for the past year.
  • Search warrants were executed in Wales, Somerset, London, and Surrey in connection with the investigation.
  • The Police Federation stated it is cooperating fully with authorities and remains focused on representing its members.
