Kieran Trippier has wasted no time endearing himself to Newcastle United fans, and frustrating Manchester United supporters in the process.
The January signing scored the winning goal - a second free kick in as many weeks - as Newcastle beat Aston Villa to pick up their third straight win.
As a result, they provided some much-needed breathing space between themselves and the drop zone as the gap to Norwich was extended to four points.
United were heavily linked with Trippier during his time with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid but were priced out of a move last summer. Six months later and the right-back became the first standout signing of Newcastle's new era.
The 31-year-old's performance on Sunday had fans talking.
His goal was the difference at St James' Park, 24 hours after United's woes were worsened against Southampton as Che Adams cancelled out Jadon Sancho's first-half opener.
With Diogo Dalot straying out of position, it allowed the Scotland international to ghost in and fire beyond David de Gea with the help of the inside of the post.
The Portuguese full-back was subject to speculation towards the beginning of the January transfer window but with Aaron Wan-Bissaka out of form, the right-back grasped his chance to become a first-team regular.
