‘He’s both a hypocrite & a sociopath’: Woman calls JD Vance out for waging war on immigrants despite his wife being Indian and their kids mixed race

It is not too difficult to conclude that Donald Trump is one of the worst leaders in United States history. Since taking office as President at the beginning of this year, Trump’s primary focus has been to wage a war against the immigrant population in the United States.

For months, Trump has been carrying out raids across the United States with the assistance of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to target undocumented immigrant populations, whom he refers to as ‘illegal aliens.’ This has led to significant public resentment, as individuals are often being forcibly taken from their homes and workplaces, zip-tied in front of witnesses, and later deported. These operations typically occur after ICE receives tips from individuals or groups regarding suspected undocumented people. However, at times, during these raids, ICE has also been known to racially profile individuals, demanding to see their documents to prove their identities and detaining those they consider suspicious.

Trump’s aggressive stance towards immigrants has received considerable support from his Republican followers. One of the most notable supporters is Vice President JD Vance, who, ironically, is married to an immigrant woman and has three mixed-race children, making his support for Trump’s policies quite hypocritical. It’s also important to highlight that Trump himself is married to Melania, who was born in Yugoslavia, now Slovenia, which makes her an immigrant as well, despite her current US citizenship.

The public has not overlooked JD Vance’s hypocrisy regarding the immigrant crackdown issue. Recently, during an event honouring Charlie Kirk, Vance engaged in a debate reminiscent of the late political activist’s style. At one point, he was confronted with a question that he found difficult to answer because of its truthfulness. A courageous woman from the audience challenged Vance’s moral stance on Trump’s immigration control efforts, questioning how he feels about his position while being married to a woman of Indian descent and raising multicultural children. Instead of addressing the question directly, Vance deflected it by joking about it in his statement style.

People on the internet who saw this interaction appreciated the woman for her boldness and bashed Vance for his dismissive behaviour. One person on X stated:

“She’s suffering deeply because of the vile actions taken by the administration this mediocre pipsqueak represents, and he ridicules her pain for his audience of bullies & racists. His in-laws are from India. His children are half Indian. He’s both a hypocrite & a sociopath.”

Another person on the platform reiterated the woman’s words and highlighted:

“You sold us a dream, now you call us too many.” That line should haunt every politician who built careers on immigrant hope.”
