Haynes manual gives the lowdown on the Lola T70

HAYNES has published yet another title that will appeal to petrolheads and motorsport fans – the Lola T70 Owners’ Workshop Manual.

Fifty years since the last variation, the Mk IIIB, first appeared and competed, it tells the fascinating story of this incredible machine.

The Lola T70 was one of the most prolific sports racing cars of the period from 1965 to 1969, with the legendary John Surtees among the trophy-winning drivers.

The manual provides insights from leading racers, team owners and designers, as well as detailed information on the development, build and competition history of the Lola T70.

Featuring fabulous historic and contemporary photography, the manual has been written by motorsport expert Chas Parker.

He said: “This book covers the whole history of the Lola marque and I’ve worked hard to ensure it sets its design and development in context with what was happening in sports car racing in the mid to late 60s, as well as providing a detailed description of the car.”

Available from www.haynes.com, the Lola T70 Manual is priced at £25.
