'Have a day off' - Nottingham Forest fans are fuming at this Derby County decision

Nottingham Forest fans are not impressed with the English Football League (EFL) after their team of they released a best XI of the Championship based on Football Manager statistics.

The official Championship account tweeted out the team yesterday evening and, despite Forest sitting in fifth place they don't have any players in the team.

Instead, Wayne Rooney and Jayden Bogle of A52 rivals Derby County make the line-up and some Reds fans have questioned why Matty Cash isn't starting at right-back instead of the latter.

Kiko Casilla and Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United are represented while Fulham trio Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ivan Cavaleiro and Tom Cairney make the cut.

Said Benrahma of Brentford, who are level on points with Forest, is in the team and he is joined by Joe Bennett (Cardiff City), Pontus Jansson (Brentford) and Mike van der Hoorn (Swansea City).

It's a surprise that not one Forest player makes the team, with Sabri Lamouchi 's side boasting top talent like Joe Lolley, goalkeeper Brice Samba and playmaker Tiago Silva.

And Forest fans feel the same.

Here's what they said on social media...

One said: "Bogle?! Matty Cash gets in everytime both in real Life AND in FM."

Another added: "Bogle & Rooney...Have a day off."

While a third said: "Bogle over Matty Cash. Alright then."

A fourth chipped in with: "What a joke."

And a fifth added: "Bogle over Cash? Megalolz...."
