Hatem Abd Elhamed makes Celtic injury return as Patryk Klimala in action for Reserve Cup semi-final

Hatem Abd Elhamed will make his return from injury for Celtic in the Reserve Cup semi-final against Hibs.

The right-back has been on the sidelines with a groin injury since the 2-1 away win over Lazio in the Europa League back in November.

The Israeli has been in training over the last fortnight as he regains full fitness, but he has now stepped up his recovery.

Elhamed has been named in the starting XI for the reserves clash against the Easter Road side as he gets some much needed playing time under his belt.

January signing Patryk Klimala, who was an unused substitute in the 3-1 win over Kilmarnock on Sunday, has also been included in the Hoops line-up.

Ismaila Soro will also feature as the new boy plays his second reserve match in a week and gets up to speed.

Daniel Arzani will get a run out alongside academy trio Ewan Henderson, Stephen Welsh and Karamoko Dembele.
