CHANDIGARH/SHIMLA: Punjab reported four cases of Covid-19 on Sunday. One case each was reported in Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Muktsar and Mohali. Himachal Pradesh reported eight cases and Haryana 54 new Covid-19 cases.
The total count of Covid in Haryana has reached 9,85,363 cases, of which 9,74,475 are recoveries, 10,617 are deaths and 248 are active cases. Only 12 patients have been hospitalised. Gurgaon reported 47 new cases, while five were reported from Sonipat and one each from Panchkula and Bhiwani
Himachal has recorded 2,84,566 cases so far, of which 92 are active, 2,80,341 patients have recovered and 4,114 patients have died. New cases include three each from Chamba and Shimla, and one each from Solan and Una. The recovered cases are from Chamba and Mandi..
On the vaccination front, 5,137 persons were vaccinated in Haryana. Of them, 1,710 got the first dose, 2,660 got the second dose, and 767 took the booster shot. In Punjab, 9,769 beneficiaries in different categories were jabbed, of which 4,219 received their first dose and 5,550 received the second dose. tnn
