CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday reported 14 new Covid-19 cases and nine recoveries. No death was reported during the day. However the number of Covid free districts in the state stands at 13 .
A total 50,501 persons were given the vaccine jabs which include 10,412 first dose and 40,089 second dose. The cumulative coverage of vaccination in the state reached 26,07,7758.
On Covid front, the cumulative count reached 77,13,08 cases, 76,11,46 recoveries, /10050 deaths and 89 active cases. Of the total active cases, 78 are in home isolation while rest are hospitalized.
Maximum seven cases were reported from Gurugram followed by two cases in Yamunanangar and one case each from Faridabad, Panchkula, Karnal, Rohtak and Rewari distrricts
The positivity rate of the day as well as cumulative positivity rate was repor4ed to be 0.14% and 5.89% respectively. The fatality rate and recovery rate was reported to b1.30% and 98.68%.
Among the districts which retained the Covid free status incuded Hisar, Sonipat, Ambala, Sirsa, Bhiwami, Kurukshetra, Mahendergarh, Jind, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Charkhi Dadri and Nuh.
