Haryana on edge as violence erupts in Nuh, Gurgaon
2/10 - Communities clash, cars set ablaze
Stones were pelted and cars were set on fire during a religious procession as clashes broke out between two groups of different communities in Haryana’s Nuh district on Monday
3/10 - Section 144 imposed
Tension gripped the Muslim-dominated area and prohibitory orders banning assembly of people were clamped in the entire district.
4/10 - Internet services suspended
Internet services have been suspended till Wednesday to contain the "intense communal tension and spread of misinformation”, the Haryana government said.

Several shops were also burnt by the protesters
6/10 - Police vehicles damaged
Several police vehicles were damaged and some media reports stated that a home guard jawan was killed during the clashes.
7/10 - ‘Forces being deployed’
Haryana home minister Anil Vij said the government has deployed forces from neighbouring districts. "We are also trying to send forces by helicopter, including three companies of central forces," he said.
8/10 - People trapped, injured
As per some reports, a group of people including women who were part of yatra, were stranded in Nalhar Mandir in Nuh. A few people have also reportedly sustained bullet injuries.
9/10 - ‘Stranded are being rescued’
Updating reporters on the situation, state home minister Anil Vij said: “We have issued directions to suspend Internet in Mewat. Those stranded are being rescued.”
10/10 - Maintain peace: Nuh MLA
“We are appealing to people to maintain peace and not pay heed to rumours. The situation is unfortunate,” Congress MLA from Nuh, Ch Aftab Ahmed.
