Harry Styles, Dua Lipa and Britney Spears could share stage with Elton John at Glastonbury Festival

Elton John's final headline set at Glastonbury Festival is expected to feature four surprise 'collaborators', sending fans wild with speculation as to who they could be. In an interview, filmmaker and Elton's husband David Furnish let slip that the superstar won't be alone on the stage and is due to end his long Glastonbury history on Sunday, June 25 with a bang.

Speaking to Sky News, Furnish said Elton would bring on "four collaborators of his choosing". But when pressed on who the artists are, he said: "Sorry. I am sworn to secrecy."

He also went on to say the legendary performer, appearing on the famous Pyramid Stage for the last time, will put together "a different setlist" with "a lot of changes". Elton previously explained creating his setlist in a recent interview, joking: "When you put a setlist together, I always say it's a bit like having sex.

"You start off really well, then you chill out a little bit. Then towards the end of the show all hell breaks loose."

Who the four collaborators could be

Sir Elton has plenty of famous friends he could call upon to share the stage with him at Glastonbury Festival. A few names have proved popular with fans speculating on who the collaborators might be.

It's been suggested that Elton's collaborators could be Dua Lipa, Rina Sawayama, Lil Nas X (who is playing the Pyramid Stage just before him) or even Britney Spears could make an appearance.

Kylie Minogue and Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander are name being bounded around by fans. Elton is also friends with Lewis Capaldi and recently met in France to discuss new music.

Another big name festivalgoers are hoping may be brought out on stage is Harry Styles. Though the star is currently on his world tour, he is free on the night of Elton's performance.

Elton's own world tour is set to end his farewell tour next month, but has no plans to retire. Furnish says: "I don't think he'll be sitting on the sofa with a remote control.

"He's going to go back into the studio in October and start his next album. Which will be great. He's not done a studio album in a long time."
