Harry Kane names the Premier League star he would love to play with amid Tottenham exit links

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has added fuel to the fire concerning his future by admitting that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is a "striker's dream."

Kane's future in north London is currently one of the most talked about topics in football after a national media report earlier this week claimed that the England captain had informed Spurs of his desire to leave the club and fulfil his ambitions of winning trophies.

But whilst it is true that Kane is growing frustrated with the current situation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, football.london understands that the striker, who has netted 32 goals in all competitions this season, has not directly informed the club that he wants to seal a summer exit, even though it is certainly on his mind.

In the last few days, speculation concerning who his next club may be, should he seal an exit from the north London outfit this summer, has been rife, with Manchester City storming to the top of betting charts.

Now, the prospect of Kane swapping London for Manchester in the coming months may have become even greater after he admitted in an interview with former Manchester United defender Gary Neville that De Bruyne would be the ideal architect to allow him to score even more goals.

"Oh De Bruyne for sure," he said when asked who is the player in the Premier League that he looks up to and thinks he could supply a great level of service. "When I watch De Bruyne play he’s a special, special player and some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker's dream if I’m honest but yeah he’s an outstanding player.

"You’ve seen him, he’s an outstanding player with the ball, off the ball, pressing, but his delivery is as good as I've ever seen to be honest."

Whilst Kane has made a name for himself in the Premier League for being one of the greatest strikers of all-time, De Bruyne has lapped up the plaudits for being one of the league's greatest playmakers and creators in history.

The Belgian, who will be hoping to help Manchester City win the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history next weekend when they lock horns with Chelsea in Portugal, is the heartbeat of Pep Guardiola's side, time and time again proving to be their creative force.

This season alone the former Chelsea man has racked up 17 assists in 38 games in all competitions, meaning he could provide the type of service that Kane would almost certainly thrive off.
