Harry Kane has revealed he is not thinking about returning to Tottenham, with the England captain “loving” life at Bayern Munich.
It has been a stunning start to the season for Kane, who has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in just six Bundesliga appearances.
He also has four goals in two Champions League matches and in his last eight appearances for club and country, Kane has scored 15 goals.
This run of form has come amid speculation that Kane could make a return to Spurs, potentially as soon as next season.
Thomas Frank said Kane is “more than welcome” back at the club and Spurs have a first-option clause should the 32-year-old leave Bayern.
It is understood that Kane would have to tell Bayern in January that he wants a move in order to activate a release clause for next summer, but that decision appears unlikely.
“I’m not sure (if I’ll go back to Spurs),” Kane told the Daily Mail.
“I’m very happy here in Munich. It’s not something I'm thinking about.
“It’ll always be ‘we’ (with Spurs) because I spent my whole life there. I’m a fan of them and will always watch them and see how they’re getting on.
“They will always be a part of my life for sure but as for now, I’m loving it here.”
Kane got his long-awaited first piece of silverware last season when winning the Bundesliga.
That came as Spurs ended their 17-year wait for a trophy by claiming the Europa League with victory over Manchester United in Bilbao, and Kane was delighted to watch the celebrations from afar.
Whether he once again puts on a Spurs shirt or not, Kane wants to see his former club kick on and ensure lifting trophies becomes a regular habit.
“It was great to see,” Kane said.
“I’ve got a lot of friends there with the players and staff.
“We know how long we waited and how close we’d come in the past so it was big for everyone - the fans, the club and all involved to have that feeling and get that one over the line.
“That’s always important and hopefully they can push on and win more.”
